A friend of Love Island 2023’s Whitney Adebayo has described what she thinks of fellow Love Islander, Catherine Agbaje.
The lady called Kemi Carter, who is of Nigerian heritage was sharing her opinions on current Love Island 2023 casts – on a social media podcast – when she called fellow Nigerian and woman a Hyatt girl, proceeding to explain why.
Kemi said: “Catherine, you remind me of a Hyatt girl. You’re just giving me Hyatt vibes in that villa and its pi$sing me the f**k off, that’s what its doing.
Like you’re just friend up with everybody, every single person that wants to come into the villa you just want them to be your man.
Like, sit there, understand what you are missing and just like look…for you, like you might like chocolate, you might like milk chocolate, I don’t understand, like what do you want, like what do you want, because at the end of the day you are in the villa, and to me it just looks like you are for everyone as well
So you might as well just go with Ty, you guys might as well just be on the island together and just figure out what you want because to me its just not giving at all.
And you know already, I don’t like, I just don’t feel your vibes, you are very pretty girl, don’t get it twisted, Catherine is very pretty, but I just don’t like the fact of you’re just moving like a hyatt girl, its pi$sing me off. Fix up.”
Kemi faced backlash from many fans on various social media platforms following her comments. One said: “Idk why everyone is coming for Catherine she’s an unproblematic babe who’s minding her business”.
Another person said: “I think she’s projecting or something like that, she may see something she likes in Catherine and is jealous”.
