How Kai and Sanam met and won Love Island season 9
Kai Fagan, went into the Love Island villa on day 1 and coupled with Tanyel Revan. Kai was probably the most chilled of the boys in villa, not wanting to be involved in anybody’s drama and gaining the full experience.
On day 5, Anna-May Robey chose to couple up with him but then he chose to recouple with Tanyel, 26, on day 10. Relations broke down with Tanyel so he moved onto new girl at the time Samie on day 16, however Samie’s eyes were set for Tom while Olivia was already eyeing him up, they officially coupled on day 21.

Everything changed on day 29 – Casa Amor week – it was where Kai met Sanam Harrinanan. Casey O’Gorman and Kai were initially Sunam’s top boys until she kissed both boys and settled for the latter.
Kai decided to take Sanam, 25, into the main villa during re-coupling, it ruffled feathers with Olivia Hawkins who he was in a couple with before Casa. Olivia, 27, despite being hurt by Kai, had also recoupled with Maxwell Samuda.
The rest as they say is history.
