Goodness Chiemere Nwachukwu did wonders for Nigeria on the 7th day of the Commonwealth Games.

The 23 year old set a new World Record, twice, in the Women’s Discus Throw F42-44/61-64 event which took place on Thursday at the Alexander Stadium, Birmingham, United Kingdom.
She first hit the 34.84m mark which broke the world record, then hit 36.56m, breaking the world record again.
The F42-44/61-64 are for Paralympians whose lower limbs are impaired, and are with or without prosthesis.
Goodness’ win takes Nigeria to 9th place out of 33 with four golds, 2 silvers and 5 bronze.
