He has created bespoke rings for popular athlete Perri Shakes-Drayton and her long jumper husband who is currently starring in Nigeria’s Big Brother 2019 House.

But not until he customised OBO’s requested engagement ring for Chioma did Timi fully make his mark as a certified bespoke DiamondByDorgu ring designer.

Meet the privileged Timi, a Nigerian Britico Bishop’s son who created that beautiful ring sitting on Chioma’s ring finger.

Under his brand Diamonds by Dorgu, 31 year old Timi explores away with his passion, creating beautifully designed rings for clients.

It would seem that this is his side hustling passion as his main job is working 9-5 Monday to Friday, as a Senior Software Sales Manager in the technology recruitment industry.

Timi is also a YouTuber alongside his wife Ife, 31, a solicitor in the city. They both make the commitment to work together on their YouTube channel as a couple given they have other projects they spend their time working on separately.

The loved-up couple met 14 years ago as teenagers when Timi’s family headed to Sheffield for a family friend’s wedding anniversary and stayed at Ife’s family home.

As at then Timi’s family was made up of Mum, Dad and a younger brother, Josh Dorgu. Sadly, Josh died aged 18 in February 2015 at his college from cardiac arrest, leaving Timi as the only child.

Mum, Mosun Dorgu, is a public speaker and consultant child psychiatrist, while dad, Nigeria-born Woyin Karowei Dorgu, is the well known Bishop of Woolwich.

Bishop Dorgu, previously a Vicar of St John’s Upper Holloway gained popularity after he was appointed with the blessings of Queen Elizabeth to lead the Church at Woolwich in 2016, making him the first black man in two decades to be appointed in such a post.
