Big Brother Naija’s Kiddwaya paid tribute on Sunday 12th March 2023, to South African artist Costa Titch who died on after collapsing on stage.
Following the sad news, Kiddwaya posted a video saying music managers and PR people who are managing artists need to do more to ensure artists are looking after their health, as many of “these artists are taking drugs”.
Costa can be seen in a video on the night he died, singing and dancing before gripping a backup dancer. Soon after, the 28 year old who was once a back-up dancer, is seen falling to the ground, his dancer pulls him back up and a couple of seconds later pauses and slumps to the ground.
According to Txt Magazine, he suffered from epilepsy.
Costa whose real name is Constantinos Tsobanoglou, was gaining momentum and fans following his wild success with the amapiano song “Big Flexa” on TikTok.
His death comes just a month after his good friend and popular South African rapper, Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, known as AKA died after being shot outside a restaurant in Durban.
