Back in 1970, Jane Roe, aged 21, was pregnant with a child and wanted to abort it.

Abortion in her state, Texas, was illegal, so she took the state to court in a class action.
Roe, who was just a pseudynm for Norma McCorvey, hoped her case would be judged quickly enough for her to have an abortion, she ended up having a baby as the case took three years to come to conclusion.
Today, that unwanted baby turned out to be Shelley Lynn Thornton, a 52 year old mother of three who herself is anti-abortion.

In an exclusive interview, Shelley spoke to ABC News, giving insight into her life and an adopted child and any relationship she had with her mother Norma.
The 52 year old, dubbed ‘Roe baby’ says she can never forgive her mother, and their relationship was non-existence before Norma passed. She felt Norma was trying to use her for publicity.
She does however have great relationships with her half sisters, Norma’s two other children who were also put up for adoption.
