The hotly anticipated show, Big Brother Naija, officially kicked off on 24th July 2021, and for the first time in its history, viewers outside of Nigeria can now watch the show just as much as those inside the country.

How to watch the show outside Nigeria is explained below.
There are a couple of ways to watch the program with less stress – either online through Showmax or using VPN.
Showmax, an online TV and video-on-demand service, recently announced that the show can be watched by fans outside Nigeria on their platform.
The service has been tried by 1NB team. While it fulfil its promise of live streaming, the sound is not of the best quality.

To watch on this platform, Viewers first need to sign up as a Showmax customer, paying around $4.49 or $8.99 monthly depending if you are watching on mobile or a different platform.
Once registered, you can access the show as well as other TV programmes.
If you choose to use VPN, you will need someone to arrange a DSTVNow account for you in Nigeria.
Once you have access to DSTV, you can download its app – DSTV Now may not be available from your location, myDStv can be used as substitute.
With your DSTV set to go, all you now need is to acquire and (possibly) pay for a VPN service – there are many recommendations if you search on Google, however you need to check if the VPN has services for Nigeria.
Once this is completed, select Nigeria as your location on the VPN, then you can have access to watch the show as if you are in Nigeria.
This 2021 season is titled Shine ya eyes. Last year’s series – Lockdown – showcased British Nigerian, Victoria “Veeiye” Adeleye, and the season before that – Pepper Dem – introduced us to another Britico, Khafi Kareem.
Slated to be one of the most watched shows as doors open for those in Diaspora to watch, the winner of this season gets to walk away with a record breaking 90 million Naira worth of prizes, N5 Million higher than that of Season 5.
