Hilda Baci officially broke the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon after spending a total of 100 hours making various assorted dishes.
She surpassed the previous holder, Indian chef Lata Tandon, who set a Guinness World Record for cooking for 87 hours and 45 minutes non-stop in 2019.

All the dishes she cooked were shared to people at the venue, Amore Gardens, Lagos, for absolutely free of charge, and was nothing short of remarkable.

- Hilda’s real name is Hilda Bassey Effiong. She is a 27 year old Nigerian chef from Akwa Ibom State, she owns the food brand called “My Food by Hilda” in Lagos.
- Hilda began cooking on Thursday 11 May and ended on Monday 15th May.
- She had to cook for 4 days non-stop, could not take coffee, stimulants, or any energy drink to artificially boost her energy and bodily strength while cooking but could eat food, drink water or fruit juice, and take glucose
- She had 5 minutes rest every hour which she opted to accumulate and take 30-minute break every 6 hours formedical check-ups, sleeps and restroom use.
- She could cook what she liked, she shared over thousand plat of food to watchers and supporters.
