BBNaija 2019 star, Khafilat Kareem, has received a final written warning from the UK Metropolitan Police following her appearance on the reality TV show in Nigeria.

Khafi faced a misconduct hearing over the last five days at the Met Police’s Empress Building in west London, says the BBC.
She was granted unpaid leave by the Met Police around the time the show began, but was advised against appearing on the show for fear that it will damage the Met’s reputation and her mental health.

The then 29 year old still went ahead and appeared on the BBNaija show from June 30 to September 15, 2019, lasting 77 days before she was evicted.
She strucked a sexual relationship with fellow housemate Gedoni Ekpata. They continued their relationship outside the house, married in December 2020, and now have a baby boy named Miracle Malaika.

The Met Police says her actions amounted to a breach of Police Standards of Professional Behaviour.
The Constable whose base is at Lambeth station since 2015 was given a written warning for the behaviour.
It means she can be sacked immediately next time if she commits another misconduct.

Khafi, 33, was born in Ekiti State in the south-west of the country but became a British citizen having moved to the UK at a tender age.
She became the poster girl for the Met police in 2018 when she was pictured alongside Commissioner Cressida Dick in celebration of 100 years of women in the force.
