Its popularity over the last two seasons have seen this year’s prize money increase by N20m from season 4’s to a whopping 85,000,000 naira worth of cash and gifts (approx £168,000 or $219,000).

The 85 million broken down will include N30m cash, two-bedroom apartment, G40 SUV from Innoson Motors, trips to Dublin, Dubai, a trip to watch UEFA Champions League finale, home appliances, a year supply of Indomie noodles, Munch it chin-chin, Colgate toothpaste, Pepsi and branded chiller and new Oppo mobile smartphone.
While cash prize remain same from season 4’s won by Mercy Eke, the grand prize’s increase is as a result of more sponsors offering lavish gifts.
Season 4’s N65m grand prize included cash prize of N30m, an SUV from Innoson Motors, trip to Dubai, home make-over, a year’s supply of Indomie noodles, Munch it and pepsi, two VIP tickets to watch European Football final game Live, One Africa Fest VVIP experience and a new Oppo mobile smartphone.
Season 3’s prize was just over half of current season’s prize at N45m won by Miracle. The prize included N25m in cash, a brand new SUV worth N12m, an all-expenses paid trip for two to an exotic destination valued at N4.7m, complete home entertainment system and appliances worth N3.3m.

Season 2’s grand prize was just N25m cash and a Kia Sorento won by Efe Ejeba. This season was officially rebooted following an 11-year gap from season 1 that aired in 2006.
