Two men have come forward to say “Nigeria has failed us” after the 2023 General election that saw Bola Asiwaju Tinubu win.
One of the men said; “The way and manner the Nigerian election has been conducted so far, I have come to the conclusion that Nigeria can never be redeemed.
“As a result, I have decided not be associated with anything called Nigeria. In order to buttress my assertion, I hereby destroy my Nigerian passport.”
The other man said similar words before proceeding to tear his passport, which is an offence and can be arrested for should they step foot in the country.

We have a nation that continues to fail its people meanwhile out here, Nigerians are contributing immensely to the growth of other nations. Deep in our hearts we know Nigeria can be great but our political and electoral systems continue to fail us and undermine our democracy and collective growth as a nation. It is disheartening. I feel their pain”
