The song is by Nigerian singer songwriter Spyro, real name Oludipe Oluwasanmi David.
Spyro started doing music in his church’s choir from a tender age as his dad is a pastor and the mother is a minister. The artist who counts Usher and R-Kelly as his inspiration used to be known as SpyroPhreeze while in university.
He was so popular with his music at university that he collaborated with the late artist, Sound Sultan who then advised him to shorten his name for more appeal.
He began to see more success when Davido and Mayorkun approached him to do a collaboration on his 2018 single, Funke.
