A UK based Nigerian is giving words of advice for people japa-ing from Nigeria expecting greener pastures.
The woman sets off saying: “these are the set of people that should not think of coming to the UK. No,1 if you have a good working business, when I mean good working business, I mean million naira profit in your country, please do not close that shop, don’t fold your property, don’t sell anything, don’t quit your business.
“Also if you know you are working and you earn like 700, to 500 pounds each month, please don’t quit that job, its a good job, yes you heard me right, its a very good job.
“Over here you find out that you earn like £2,00 each month or £1,500, you end up going home with like £500-£700 in a month, and that £500 to £700 you going to go home with, you going to feed, you are going to pay for your transportation and then…
Let me explain, from the amount you earn in a month, you got tax to pay, you got kids, you got electricity bills like £200 each month depending on the city. You got car, you got council tax, you got to government tax and you have got to pay your rent monthly. Meanwhile back in your country your rent is like every year, you are not paying monthly, yearly.
Now the shape of people that should come to the UK, are mobile business. If you know you have mobile business, like an online business you can travel because you don’t just get to UK and start working in a week, a month not even in three weeks..”
