Instagram’s shapely model Uchemba has addressed those who thought she wore head scarf because she is a Muslim.

The 25 year old posted a video to her Instagram with a caption reading “I wear head wraps because I’m on a hair loc journey, not because of my religion (comment any helpful tips if you’ve went through the journey)
I just see a lot of questions regarding why I cover my hair in the comments. I wear durags a lot to protect my locs and my locs is at a rough stage as well which I’m still learning to embrace.
This journey has been teaching me a lot about myself and most importantly patience and acceptance and for true self (this video isn’t new, I’m months into my locs)
