Love Island 2023 Winter series has only been airing for 10 days, but we officially have one black love.
Shaq, 24, declared to 22 year old Tanya; “my feelings for you have just grown and grown and grown, and its like just seeing you up there was enough for me, I didn’t want to focus on anyone else but you, you are my priority”
The lovey dovey exchange came about after Tanya along with Tanyel, Anna-May, Tom, Haris and Kai were revealed to be least favourite boys and girls.
Newly entered Islanders, Australians Jessie Wynter and Aaron Waters were tasked with making a decision on which boy or girl was leaving.
Tanya survived as Anna-May and Hari were voted out of the villa.
Following the eviction, Shaq and Tanya, all cuddled up on the day-bed had a heart to heart. Tanya says; “I just want a cuddle. They could have picked anyone.”
To which Shaq replied; “I know. All I care about is that I am happy that I still have you here and it just showed me, like how strong my feelings for you really are”
Tanya says; “Babe, I want to kiss so much. Don’t want to lose you”
Shaq replies; “My feelings for you have just grown and grown and grown, and its like just seeing you up there was enough for me, I didn’t want to focus on anyone else but you, you are my priority”
She replies “And you are mine”. They kiss passionately.
In a diary room session, Shaq opens up; “me and Tanya, we are completely on the same page. Tonight she really did open up and lay her cards all on the table, and so did I. I just wanna keep enjoying her company and keep getting to know her because I really am developing some strong feelings for the girl.”
The clip cuts back to the couple on the outside bed and Shaq says “Like I didn’t think I’d find someone within the first week let alone the first day that I really like have connected with and felt like it could be something that serious, but I found that with you”
Tanya says “same”.
It comes just days after Zara tried catching Shaq attention by pulling him for a chat, and Tanya dumped David Salako – who had entered the house as a bombshell on day 2 – was sent home.
